What this nap time calculator does

SleepQuify’s nap time calculator estimates the next nap, wake window, nap duration, and bedtime adjustment using a profile-based sleep pattern. It is built for quick use without forcing you through a long sleep app flow.

Different profiles have different wake windows and nap goals. A 4 month old baby, a toddler, and an adult do not usually benefit from the same nap timing or the same nap length.

How this calculator works

This calculator starts from the last wake time. It applies a profile-based wake window, which gives the estimated start time for the next nap.

It then estimates the nap duration and calculates how that nap may affect bedtime later in the day. Short-sleep days usually shift bedtime earlier. Easier days or longer naps can allow a slightly later bedtime.

Balanced nap

This gives a normal nap estimate for the selected profile and day pattern.

Power nap

This is best for older kids, teens, or adults who want a shorter reset nap and do not want bedtime to drift too late.
